Terms of service
Short version: what Build Extension builds for you is yours, you are the one publishing it, and the service comes with no warranty.
You own what you build
The code, icons, listing text and translations Build Extension produces for your project are yours. Build Extension claims no rights over them and takes no revenue share. You can download the package at any time and take it elsewhere.
You are the publisher of record
Extensions are published into your Chrome Web Store developer account, under your name. That makes you responsible for what the extension does, for its privacy disclosures, and for answering Chrome Web Store review. Build Extension acts on your instructions; it is not the publisher.
What you may not build here
Nothing that breaks the Chrome Web Store program policies: no malware or hidden data collection, no deceptive listings, no impersonating another product or brand, no automating a service against its rules, nothing illegal where you or your users are. Accounts used for that are closed.
Your account
One person or company per account, and keep your credentials to yourself. You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
Service as-is
Build Extension is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Builds can fail, generated code can contain bugs, and a store submission can be rejected for reasons nobody here controls — read the code before you ship it. To the extent the law allows, Build Extension is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the previous three months.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the change is posted on this page before it takes effect.
